Splash page

I have altered the logo text to a font that is clearer whilst still keeping in with the feel of the website. I have also changed the colour of the eye symbol to keep in with the black and grey colour scheme.

Despite the logo design being successful in itself it did not transfer effectively onto the website pages. I also feel that there is a lot of un-needed space on the page and that it would look better if the photos were sized to fit the screen.

First attempt at design on Adobe Illustrator.

Improvements:

• thumbnails all need to be cropped to a square format
• change font of navigation titles

Development of Logo

Logo in use on my existing website. I want to try and incorporate text into this symbol.

After examining these fonts I decided that i wanted to use a font that was quite edgy and different for my logo. I don't feel that any of these fonts portray this successfully enough.

Flow Charts

Draft 1

After discussion I decided that some of the categories needed renaming, for example 'other work.' I also decided 'live' and 'promotional' could come off as sub-categories off 'music.'

Draft 2

I felt this flow chart was far better than my first draft and gives emphasis to my band photography which is what i'm trying to market the most. I also feel that keeping the link to my blog and contact info at the bottom of the page is advantageous as it allows the information to be there on every page. 

Draft 3

This flow chart divides my music photography and other work into 2 different websites. By clicking on the further work link it would bring you to an additional website with the rest of my photography work on.
